Grey goose citron or grand marnier orang slush?

Slightly funny story about me and the GG:

We were leaving Epcot one night and I had stopped to get a GG Slushy. We were leaving throught the "back gate" to the Boardwalk when I realized I could not leave with alcohol. Arg, you can't drink it fast, really you can't! You will get awful chest pains or brain freeze whatever one you get.

So while my dh left to use the restroom, I parked myself to the side of the turnstyles to quietly finish my drink. Along comes a woman who just wants to go out to use the rest room, with a glass of wine. So I offered to hold it for her until she got back.

Well, picture me - 62 yrs old holding two beverages. The security guards were having a great time calling me a "two-fisted" drinker and suggesting that I could combine them for a "pink drink." I was getting such looks from people leaving. :rotfl2:

I just tried the Grey Goose for the first time last week and boy was it yummy :thumbsup2 I will try the other one next trip, but for now the lemon gets my vote.

I vote for the Grey Goose slush! Last Saturday me and my girlfriend had to go back and get another one after we finished our first. :lmao:

Hey I bet they would do a Half and half!!! Have Grand Marnier and half Grey Goose!

The cups may be a little too small for that... better stick with double fisting and alternate sips :upsidedow

I'm jumping on the Gran Marnier band wagon. I love em so much that I make them at home! :drinking:

This is an easy one...Grey Goose is higher proof than Grand Marnier.

They are sold at a kiosk across from Chefs de France in - of course - France:thumbsup2

Oh and I have a question. Last time we were there about two weeks ago they were promoting a new liquor. It is called "Nuvo" and is a supposedly "sparking vodka." Made in France and it is *really* pink!

The bottle it comes in looks like an oversized perfume bottle. Has anyone tried this and what did you think, please. Thanks

Anybody have a recipe for either one of these drinks? They'd be great summer drinks and probably not hard to make with the right ingredients.....

I want the recipes to, maybe i could make them and try them before i go. Then i can decide which one is really worth $8.00:scared1:

LOVE the Grey Goose. It taste like an old fashion lemon ice. However, it is not that strong. I would prefer much more grey goose. I am going for my annual ten day trip this August and my wife is looking forward to the grey goose slusie in a big way.

However, they are a little tough on the wallet. Especially when you are a lush like me.

Just got back...had the Grey Goose Slushie and bought one of the Grande Marnier Slishies for my DBF so she had to let me taste). Yum! We had lunch at the Tangierine Cafe and each had a Snagria, then had the slushies. We were sloshed!

My husband wanted to know why I was planning this trip of ours so far out and why we had to wait a whole year to go...he wants to go asap. I told him, "Honey, at $8 for a beer, we'll have to save every penny until then just to cover our bar tab around Epcot!"

I can't wait to try the Grand Marnier slush, it looks and sounds terrific!

It's a no brainer for me, but that's because I'm allergic to vodka!!

I can't wait to try the Grand Marnier slushie!
