Hello all, it is nice to meet you and I'm very happy to have found these boards. My fiance and I have booked our honeymoon at WDW in May 2011 and I am TOO excited. (Is that possible?) I have been nonstop scouring for planning information and a general WDW education since neither he nor I have been there in 20 or so years. I have found a plethora of information on the DIS site and on the boards so I decided to finally register and speak up.

It took us a little while to decide on a resort but we are opting for CBR for the nice, tropical island theme. I haven't been to WDW since I was a little kid so I found starting to plan to be really overwhelming. I even started to go a little into what I have learned to be known as "Disney Commando" mode. I was thinking of mapping out each day of our 8 day stay and was starting to panic over not having enough time to "do everything" and that the size and transportation issues of the CBR might be an issue, etc. But after perusing these boards I have really calmed down and realized I don't need to over-do it. I'm really thankful for all the helpful information and opinions that I've come across that I really think will enhance my ability to "sanely" plan our trip.

Sorry for the long introduction! I'm sure I'll be around frequently gathering as much knowledge as I can for our trip!

Last year we stayed at CBR and LOVED it! Our room was in Aruba, so close to the bus stop and only about 5 minutes from the food court. Such a lovely walk, through the little island in the middle of the lake!

Hi,

At our last visit in July, we met a young
couple on their honeymoon. The bride
said her most favourite part of the trip
was the Harry Potter tour. She
showed us pictures and I must say
it looked incredible. If I had more
time, I would have gone myself.
She said it was worth every penny
and planned to go again.

Thanks for the welcome! Yes, I've heard the little island is very beautiful- I love water so strolling across the lake to get to the shops might be great for us!
