My house was in Copperfield on the NW side.

Small world (lol). I live near Copperfield. 529 between 6 and barker-cypress. Stone Creek (respresent)

I know EXACTLY where ya'll are!!!

I lived in Copperfield for 20 years, and then moved to Illinois to marry my DH.

:welcome: :welcome: :welcome: :welcome:

I've only lived here for 8 yrs. My wife and I lived in the museum dist. in houston until we had kids. We figured it wouldn't be the best place to raise kids. So we said hello to suburbia. I really miss the nice restaurants of downtown. Although there's a lot more stuff here now than 8 yrs ago. Lots of new sushi places. If I could only get a churrascaria around these parts. Illinois-that's cold huh?

Woo! Houston native here (born Pasadena, grew up there and Deer Park, then League City my last 4 years there). Welcome!!

I actually lived in dallas as a kid. GP and arlington. Still got family in Denton.

A bit....first time to be really cold here was this morning on the way into church. High of 4 today....-20 wind chill factor....presently it's -1...who knows about WCF, but inside everywhere is heated.

Kind of like in Houston the heat is unbearable in July and August...they stay inside here in Jan-Feb. It's a trade-off...BIG time culture shock from Texas, tho.

Have fun in Stone Creek!

Welcome. It's good that you are here. Sending pixie dust your way!
