When will I expect to see the first? A long time from now because I rarely go to the DVC rent-trade board at all.

I say today, 2/1/07. I think as soon as some people are notified that they are proud owners of AKV points, there will be some postings on the rent/trade board. Also, the developer points will try to be rented, also.

True but the developer points expire in 7 months, so February use years can not book AKV with developer points before they expire!

I'll be renting my developer points as soon as I able to. I'm already set for this year's trips and we'll probably be doing the cruise next year, so don't label me a commerical renter just yet. I wanted in early on this deal but probably won't be able to actually go until Dec. 2008. Our trips are planned that far ahead . Look for my entry on the rent/trade board soon...

Since AKV doesn't open until the Fall (Let's just guess that means September or October), and no one can post an existing reservation for rent more than 6-months away (R/T board posting rule), the earliest anyone could post an existing ressie would then be March or April.

Mr. Shiny, at least has priced the AKV points where I would have priced mine, if I had enough to rent. I'm trying to convince DW we need Christmas at AKV this year.

As to prizes....hmmmmm..... lets open that up to general input

Good ole Mr Shiny heres a guy who has seen a fast buck and grabbed it with both hands, sure beats the $8 discount Disney are offering, hopefully we will see more points for all resorts going for this price. Like his style.
