Green Van @AKL

We recently stayed at AKL (early Nov.) and one afternoon a green van full of people that had an open top was driving through one of the savannahs. The van would stop and allow the passengers to take pictures of the animals. I have never heard of this before? Does anyone know how to get this VIP treatment?

That van is part of the sunset safari, available only to concierge. You get the tour, then dinner for an extra charge.

The Sunset Safari is $150 per person and only available to AKL concierge guests. It includes the tour on the savannahs and a multi course dinner at Jiko with wine at each course. It is open to guests 12 and older.

DD22 and I did this in March and I have to say it is the best money I have ever spent at WDW.

The van is really cool inside...the seats flip up and the top pops up so you can stand and take pictures...
