I spotted someone mentioned in a thread about lime green ribbons....pardon my ignorance, but is this the symbol of being a DIS'er??? Think I'll need to get some then......
Do they need to be tied in a certain way???

yes, its a Dis thing!:) You can tie or wear them where you like, on your back pack or wherever. Helps to be noticed and notice others!

Although I've actually only ever met one other person wearing them, in 6 trips so far!:p :p

Hi Kim,

where are you flying from on the 5th as we are going from Gatwick and will be wearing our Green Ribbons (not Paul though).

We tied ours to my backpack last year and met two very nice people from the US Dis. Sadly, no brits though.

The leftover ribbon we tied to the aerial of our car. It made finding the car MUCH easier at the end of the day in the massive car park full of identical cars!

Have a great trip!

Hi Kim

we are flying with Thomas Cook! at 1030 having stayed at the Hilton the night before.

DD Katharine will be 15 while we are out there. She still doesn't know we are going and wont until the night before. It has been a hard 14 months keeping this one quiet.
