Green Mickeys!

DH, DS and I were heading to the mall tonight and I asked him to stop by Home Depot first, I needed to pick up paint chips. He dropped me off at the door and I found the Mickey heads. Only I couldn't remember the shade name so I got 3 stacks of different green Mickey heads. When I got in the car DS asked what I got and I showed him. He thought they were cool. DH asked what I was going to do with all of them. I said you display them to show that you are a member of the Dis-boards. DS asked what the Dis-board was... DH answered that we were a band of theives that swiped all the paint chips from all the Home Depots!!!!!

I actually BOUGHT that color (Sonic Boom Green or something like that), and I had to describe it to the Home Depot Guy because they were out of the samples. I actually said "I can't find the sample, there must have been a DISer in here, but this is what I need....." He looked at me like I had two heads.

Its Alien Green. Its the closest to the Lime Green. I had so much fun 'borrowing' the Mickey Heads this past summer.

Yup, I'm a thief. I try to alleviate my guilt by buying something when I visit Home Depot "in exchange" for the paint chips. I should probably just give in and paint something with that color. But what? (Not the walls of my apartment!)

Yeah It is a kinda scarey color. Alien green isn't it? I wonder who started this?

This is a cute story!!!

Whenever my DH goes to Home Depot I tell him, "Hey, pick up some Sonic Booms for me while your there." He then shakes his head laughing as he walks out the door.

It's true!
Any day of the year you can go into my local Home Depot and see a rainbow of Mickey head paint chips. Every color you can imagine. Except for any shade of lime green!!!!!!!! I've never seen one there!!!!
