Greek Isles Cruise 6/26: The Fairy Godblogger Report: Completed!

It's all done! I plan to do a mini Magic review and a small wrap up about things I learned in a planning our huge trip, but the actual cruise portion of the trip report is fin!

I did it all! And it was both a dream trip and overwhelming at times during the planning stages! I am currently writing about the planning, some tips I learned through the planning and how I did it. And honestly there were times I didn't know how I was going to keep everything straight, but it all worked out! We never missed a flight or train, all of our pre-purchased tickets worked and I booked the right dates for all the hotels I had a large envelope for each country and one for the cruise where I kept each day's itinerary, maps and any tickets. That was very helpful.

A trip this long obviously took a long time to plan. I started last September and I always start with booking the rooms/apartments first. Then once airfare is bought, you can start with the daily specifics! I love planning trips, so I think that helped. I spent countless hours on Tripadvisor, too!

I've just started reading your report and I'm so excited because I think I've picked out my 40th birthday trip! Good thing I have three years to save!

However, I can't find this itinerary anywhere on DCL's website! Have they discontinued it??

Disney tends to mix-up the European itineraries year to year. Next year they are not going back to Greece, but Northern Europe and then some shorter cruises in the Med. 2016 itineraries aren't out yet and there's no telling what they will do! It was a great itinerary, so for your sake I hope they do it in three years!

Oh, that's good to know - I hope they do too! Enjoying your trip report! We just got back from Alaska and I'm finding writing a trip report is a wonderful way to relive the experience!
