Great weekend

Had two great weekends, last week and this week

Last week we went to Nottingham Hard Rock Cafe for my friend's birthday

This weekend Mark's sister came down from Scotland and we went to Thorpe Park yesterday and today up town for a thames river cruise and a go on the London eye. The weather was perfect

oh well back to work tomorrow

Glad you had a good couple of weekends
We thought about going to Chessington as the weather was so nice, Ended up giving the garden a good sorting out instead.

Was Thorpe Park busy????

We would like to give it a go over the summer.

Thorpe Park was ever so busy. We queued up for ages just to get in!

Mark and his brother paid for a fastrack ticket which was good for them as it included the big wild rides but we had some younger kids with us so and it was hard going.

We queued up for an hour and a half for the log flume which when we got on it was great as it cooled us down and I managed to keep my eyes open which is a first for me.

If you prefer the big rollercoaster things and have teenagers then Thorpe Park is good but I personally prefer Chessington (especially with younger children) as it seems to have more cuter type of rides.

I always think the best time to take kids to these theme parks is on the inset days.

Have a great time whichever park you choose to go to.
