This isnt my tip - I am re-posting it from a while ago (I read it before our 2000 trip). We did this on our 2 week trip this month and loved how easy it made things.

Bright Antenna ball!
We decided not to do a Mickey antenna ball since we figured most of the ones we would see would be Mickey. So, I got a 76 (gas station) bright orange ball and we put it on our rental.
We never had any problems finding the car and we could even spot it from the Disney Wonder in the DCL parking lot as we boarded for our 3-day cruise.
We were so excited we have pictures of the parking lot to prove it. :)

Anyway. A great tip. Thank you to who ever posted it orgianlly. Really helps tell all those white rentals apart. Just make sure you get a car with an antenna. ;)

Lime green ribbon! We brought several feet with us, tied it to fanny packs, lanyards, etc. Also tied a few pieces to the antenna. Our ribbons were a great help, the only reason we found the car some night were the ribbons! The 'slime' green ribbons, as they were dubbed the first day there due to the bright color, were what we looked for in the parking lot-was easier then trying to look for the car itself!
