Great stay at SSR... 27 years and still loving DVC

We stayed 5 nights in a 1 bedroom at SSR. It was basically a non park stay, but we did do an After Hours EPCOT event when I got the notice for DVC discount tickets. Fun event. Only had to wait for Guardians. Room was very comfortable and I loved building 55 in the Paddock.

Pools were great, setting was lovely. SSR was a good spot to launch our side trips to Tampa and Lakeland.

DVC remains the best purchase we ever made.

It’s hard to beat a 1 bed in SSR. Since the refurb many people are saying the same- it’s one of their favourite resorts.
I bought it for sleep around points. I could have selected anywhere for our upcoming December trip, but kept my 11 month SSR booking. Nothing touches it for the points and it has also the essential 5 sleep surfaces in the 1 bed, whereas many do not which is ridiculous.

We rented points and stayed in a 1 br at SSR in Congress Park last month. We were surprised at how well we liked it. We wouldn't hesitate to stay there again especially since we have our vehicle.
