We stayed at POP 6/8-6/14. We actually arrived at 1:00 a.m. on 6/9. We had 2 connecting rooms reserved, and were placed in the 90s, building #9, 3rd floor, facing the parking lot. I was a little unsure about this at first, because I thought it might be noisy so near the parking lot, and knew that we would want to sleep in the next day because of arriving so late. It turned out to be a great location! Just a few minutes walk to the food court and buses, the computer pool was right by our building, and it was very quiet and peaceful. In fact my 3 teen DDs were able to sleet until 11:00 a.m. that first morning!

We ate at the food court several times, and thought there was a great selection. We especially liked the mediterranean flatbread, the philly wrap, the veggie lasagna, and of course the tye-dye cheesecake!

The buses came very frequently. The only time we had to wait more than 5 or 10 minutes, was when my DDs went to Downtown Disney one morning. They said they had to wait about 20 minutes each way.

One of my DDs and I are runners, and it was great to be able to run through the resort, and around the lake over to Art of Animation. The lake path was open all the way to AOA on the left side as you face the lake, but the right side was still closed off. It was easy to get in a 3 mile run without lots of back-tracking.

It was fun to walk around POP as well as AOA...lots of photo ops!

Overall, we had a great stay. My only complaint was the bed. I can usually sleep anywhere, and have never had back problems. For some reason, I woke up in the middle of every night with a sore back, and had a hard time getting back to sleep. The beds didn't bother anyone else in my family, though, so who knows?

Glad you had a great stay! (Minus the back issues.) We stayed at 90s last time and I LOVED the location - I don't remember the room number, but it was on the left side of the building, 3rd floor, and we could see the Walt Disney World entrance sign (Hollywood Studios side). Definitely made you feel like you were on the edge of property hahaha. But I loved the convenience of just walking through the parking lot to get to Everything Pop and the buses.

Thanks for sharing. Pop Century is our choice for our next trip and I like reading about it.

POP sounds like such a great resort. I would love to stay there one day. Thanks for sharing!! :goodvibes

Pop is my favorite resort so far! I love hearing about other people having a great time there. :thumbsup2

Thanks for sharing!

Thanks for the review. We are going back for our 4th stay at pop.

Thanks for sharing!! So glad to hear you had a great experience. Pop is awesome. We stayed at ASMu for this summer's WDW trip, but will stay at Pop in 2013 and i can hardly wait!

Thanks for the review!! I'm staying there for 3 nights this weekend for a "staycation" with a friend who is visiting me! I've never stayed in 90s (Just 70s) but we have a standard pool view booked so I'm guessing if I'm not in the 50s, I'll be in the 80s or is it 90s??

We loved Pop. We were in the 70s, Building 6, on the 3rd floor facing the lake. It was beautiful and quiet, and the walk wasn't too bad.

In fact, if AoA didn't look so beautiful we'd be staying at Pop again.

Hi
Thanks for your review! I love Pop, but since the rehab, the beds are so hard!! My daughter-in-law had such a terrible back ache from them. There is no give to them, it's like sleeping on a board. Some people say the beds are comfortable, so I wonder if all the mattresses were changed. I'm sorry that I won't stay at Pop anymore because of the beds.

Thanks for the review! We will be staying at Pop for the first time in Oct. We have stayed at CBR and POFQ, but I am looking forward to the theme at Pop! Can't wait to try the tie dye cheesecake and the King cupcake!
