I found a bunch of reasonably-priced Disney goodies at my local Hobby Lobby last week, and thought I'd share here in case anyone else is interested.
I plan to give these items to the kids as souvineers (tho they'll get mouse ears at Disney) and also as goodies when they redeem their Mickey Travel Tickets (Mickey Head paint sample cards from Home Depot) every 30-60 minutes on the drive.
Lots of small sticker/activity books including Tinkerbell, Star Wars Clone Wars, Cars, Nemo, The Incredibles...these are compact but filled with lots to keep kids busy! $1.99
A huge display of Disney princess and Tink goodies for the girls...Princess lip gloss 2-pack for a buck, Princess glitter nail polish and ring set (6 of each, very cute in adorable little bag) $5.99, Tink and Princess rings, play makeup, chapstick tubes...most of it under $3 Look near the check-out area.
In the kids crafting section, there were a bunch of Disney full-size activity and coloring books. Little Mermaid, Princesses, Cars, Incredibles...$2.99 Also human body, cool science facts and gross bugs coloring/activity books that would be great for Epcot souvineers, under three bucks.
And you know those super thick sticker books? THey have them in Princesses and Pirates of the Carribean plus a good one for older boys for bugs/snakes/gross creatures. They sell for $12.99 sticker price but get them 40% off with a free printable coupon!
There are also nice Disney tins for storing crayons/markers/trinkets - Cars, Princesses, HM, I think they are $2.99, and those tin purses in Tink and Princesses for $6.99 (again use that coupon!)
For Christmas, they have amazing super-sized velvet art coloring book sets in Princesses, Cars and Pirates for $29 but again much better w/coupon. These are huge and the kind of present that adds a cool wow factor unwrapped by the tree on Christmas morning!
I am printing off a bunch of coupons every week and gathering supplies at nearly half price with regular Hobby Lobby visits before our trip!
Here is the printable 40% off coupon - make sure you get one current for the week you are shopping!
