Thought I would be smart and get to DS 10 minutes before they open.

Well, so is everyone else in Fairfield County. I was about 10th in line and had great conversations with all the waiting folks. Mall goers would ask what all the people were there for, and when we told them, they look amazed!

The line moved in the order in which we were originally and everyone seemed to get their pins, adequately! A very pleasant experience, indeed.

Got my pins and made some friends.

See y'all next week!

LauraJean....Trumbull or Milford?

Lucky you. I got to my store 40 minutes early and got one measly pin. People wouldn't let my wheelchair in. They just walked in front of it.

When we are outside the store before it opens, I make sure everyone knows what "number" they are. Then we go into the store in order! This has worked for three weeks now. Plus today the manager on duty came out before the store opened to let us know about the limits & location of this week's pins. Plus while we were buying pins, the phone rang. The manager made sure that everyone IN the store got what they needed BEFORE she took the phone request. Went very well again today although more "new" people keep showing up.

Unfortunately I have to back off if anyone goes in front of the wheelchair because of it's weight. 250 pound chair plus a 200 occupant could easily break a foot. The manager was told she must take them in the order they get into the line so she had no choice. She's as upset as I am. I'm one of her regular costomers.

There were about 10 people in line..I got there at 9:15 and there was already a little old lady there waiting..lol..she wanted one of each..the manager near the door and I asked her how she was working it this week..she said the pins are on the rack..I replied that wasn't a good idea..as there had been a memo saying to keep them behind the counter till the first wave of customers went by..so she pulled the rack over behind the counter..they also told anyone who called to call back after the initial line of store customers was gone and if there were any pins left that then they could be held..everyone went in an orderly manner..most wanted only one set of each, some of us wanted 2, but she made sure to point out that there WAS a limit on 2 of each this week, and from now on. I must add, I for one am a little disappointed in castle pin #19..expected a lot more out of this pin than Disney did apparently..lol...the Pooh and eeyore is adorable though, as is the snow white one!..maybe they are finally getting the wrinkles out of the buying situation for the rest of the series..though there were a LOT more people there than there have been the last 2 weeks, has everyone decided to become collectors?? :)

I was at the Trumbull, CT DS store! Was any else there?

Leslie, you posted (last week?) that the Milford store didn't have all, so I went to Trumbull! Were you there? I overheard someone saying that they had someone at the Milford store, just in case they didn't get everything at Trumbull! Now that's covering your bases!

I'm hoping I'm in line with the same bunch next week. They were great! TTFN!
