hello,

this October, we are planning our very first Disney springs trip as part of our WDW down day. i will have a 14 and 11 year old boys. Any must see do's and attractions to see. i have marked down late lunch at trex. And am planning on doing the half-car half-boat water ride.

Anything else please?

I've heard there is a fancy schmancy cupcake vending machine (same company as the one in NY who does it, the name escapes me)

#1 -Don't eat T-Rex
#2 - See rule 1

In all seriousness, Disney Springs offers a great variety of things. Do you want to see a movie, go bowling, live music, etc...it's all there, but each group will want something else. For example, I was only half joking about going to T-Rex. For some, it's a can't miss. For others, they may not go if the meal was free.

Here is a recent review with their entertainment schedule to give you an idea of what's offered.

Splitsville! My DH and I didn't make time to go during our last trip, but we just peeked in and it looked amazing. Now it's all my DH can talk about.

If you can afford tickets for La Nouba, do it! We had the cheapest seats and still had awesome views. I kid you not, it is absolutely incredible. And at one point, the sound of children's laughter ringing out in the theater was so infectious when the clowns were performing. It really is a show that people of every age will enjoy! Non-stop amazement!

My teenagers really enjoyed Design a T. It was our last day of vacation and we stumbled across the store. Luckily it was fairly early in the morning and we had plenty of time to design our shirts and the pick up time was only 30 minutes (I have read wait times cane get into the hours range later in the day). We made our shirts, shopped around, went back and got our shirts before our T-Rex reservation. We really enjoyed T-Rex and had a great day at Disney Springs.

Dominic Gaudious near Starbucks is VERY talented. We love T-Rex, Splitsville & La Nouba. You can usually find gift cards for La Nouba at Raise for 30-35% off...a great deal.

My family wants to go there the day we arrive instead of going to a park. They can't wait for Earl of Sandwich! Yum! They are excited to go to Goofy's candy store, and to pin trade. And don't forget Disney Quest if you have the water park and more option as it won't be around much longer!

We went to Goofy's Candy Company and had Rice Krispy treats made. They are huge and you pick your toppings, they lasted the whole trip and tasted awesome.

My 12 year old Disney grand daughter's list

1. Shop
2. Ice cream sundae at Ghirardelli
3. Hot Air Balloon Ride (check Groupon for discounts)
4. Boat/Car ride.
5. Goofy's Candy shop
6. Dine In Movie OR
Lunch at Wolfgang Puck
7. Basins to get our favorite shampoo bar.
8. Did I say shop?

I like the idea of designing a t-shirt--thanks for sharing.
Hugs Mel
