Had budgeted $77/night for ASMo in September, planned to have it paid for with our latest eBay money, plus MyPoints and Disney Rewards Dollars. Called last night, CM offered us Pop Century at $49/night. Will only cost us our eBay money! We now have the remaining money to spend on food and souvenirs. Hurray!

Wow that's great!

Did you get a postcard or did you just ask for a better rate? I have the $69 AAA rate at Pop in September. That includes tax. We'll be there from Sept 11-19.

We did not receive a postcard. We figure Disney is done sending us postcards, we go so much, they feel no need to entice us! DH just asked the CM about the best rate. We were asking about ASMo, but she said she had this rate for PC only. We weren't about to quibble over resorts. We've stayed at ASMo 3 times, and are staying at PC in December, anyway.

I don't get it. I have called 3 times from different posts on this board asking about a discount rate, and every time I get the same answer "Without a code, I can't help you." I'm truly happy for all of you who have just happened to get the right CM at the right time, but I sure wish my time would come. Our trip is scheduled for October, nothing is out for that time yet (not even AP), we have planned to stay for 9 nights because we have been able to get good rates in the past. But since we have 9 nights reserved, it's just not happening! I sure hope that I don't have to shorten our trip because we can't get a good rate.

i love when that happens! several years ago, we went to Disney for my college graduation present ('99). we booked 5 days at the BWI for $1,700. after some online research i called and asked up an "upsell rate" (this was before mousesavers i think) and got the same 5 nights for $1,200. it felt so good to save $500 just by asking!

congrats on saving some cash! the question is, how you gonna spend that new found cash!?!?!

keep looking for codes. we are going in october and i'm looking for a good moderate rate since we are renting points for our main stay. its frustrating that others have gotten these codes already, but our time will come! be patient! :)

PC is really fun, they have an amazing food court w/some unique selections I've never seen anywhere else in WDW. They also have a huge giftshop. Have fun and buy lots of mickey bars w/the $$ you saved! :)

You don't want to be surprised upon check in if they ask you for a postcard or pin #. Then you would have switched hotels to pay the same amount. Just erring on the side of caution....then maybe you can let us know! I hope this turns out to be a true discount for you!

I just booked PC for my sister for one night (9/27). I was told the rate was $77 plus tax! :earseek: I had heard talk of a code for Sept/Oct room only stays of AZI and when I asked, I was immediately asked for the pin number! She is staying for a week at the FW cabins but since they changed their plans and are arriving a day before her son and his family, they needed 1 room for the extra night.

Wouldn't it be nice if Disney actually tried to give us the best deal? Don't they realize how many more rooms they would book if when anyone called for a reservation, instead of the guest having to do all kinds of research before calling them, if they would just say "Let me key in your dates and hotel preference and see what we can do for you!". :sunny: It's a nice dream, but doubtful that it would ever become a reality!

Hi there
The $49/night value rate sounds like my postcard rate. It was for 8/28-9/28 only. I don't know if they would ask for the card at check in or not. I have never been asked for the codes when I check in. Hve fun!
