Great movie ride and other rides leaving for good????

Oh I see, they are not getting rid of Soarin', just updating.

"Take off for a high-flying ride across Florida... from the Everglades swamps, up to the highest natural elevation in the state in Crestview!"

The more I think about them updating for Florida, the more I think an aerial trip across Florida would be lame, aside from the part where you're flying over the WDW parks. I'm hoping the update comes in the form of an overall view of the southeastern U.S.

I offend wonder going through then TGMR. Does anyone under 30 have any idea of who these people are? When the last time was any of these black and white movies were on television? It's a great ride just so outdated. Time just go by really fast now, in computer years!! When the last time a Weston was was on TV. Does any child under 20 know what a Weston was?

I'm 31 and I have no clue. The only movies I've seen on that ride are wizard of oz and Indiana Jones. I still enjoy the ride somewhat but would appreciate a little updating. In the post ride video they have Titanic, I would love some Leonardo DiCaprio audio animatronics.

then you missed the point of the ride -- it's to educate and inform you of the history of the cinema -- and to keep the memory of those pictures alive .... after going through this with the kids last eyar (when they were 12 and 15) they both sought out the movies featured in the ride and rather enjoyed them.
