great hotels? staying in downtown disney

I was wondering if anyone knew if the series great hotels was going to do a segment on the boardwalk inn? also i saw that there was a garden suite you could get but i was curious as to if those were nice or if just a room would be better? my fiance and i are looking to be going in dec and im going to make it offical and ask her to marry me when we go and thought it would be nice to have something romantic. I have asked some people what they think about staying on the boardwalk and i have heard the boardwalk is a nice place. SO is the beach and yacht club are nice as well but we cant decide what we like. Also just thought id post this question here as well. What about staying at downtown disney? are there any disney owned resorts there or are they all owned by someone else.

Can't answer you about the Travel Channel question but I do know there is a brand new resort called Saratoga Springs that is located right by DTD which is disney owned. Looks beautiful. And of course there are the NON-owned Disney resorts on Hotel Plaza Blvd.

The BW is beautiful and so is the BC (we honeymooned at the BC and enjoyed it very much).

Congrats!! Anywhere in Disney will be totally romantic!
