Staying at GCH over summer! Can't wait! First time Disneyland!:cool1::cool1::cool1:

Where is either an on site restaurant or off site restaurant that would be FUN TO CELEBRATE A 14 YR OLD BOY'S BIRTHDAY?

Have car, doesn't matter if off site?

Much thanks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:banana::banana::banana::banana:

I am sure you already know this restaurant, but I would suggest the ESPN zone in DTD. I would think a 14 yr. old boy would think that place was fun and pretty cool. Other people might have some more exciting off site suggestions though.

It depends on what his interests are and what level of cheesiness he's willing to put up with (the second part I'm throwing in because in my experience young teen boys tend to want to be "too cool for school"). If he likes skateboarding, you might want to head over to the Block at Orange (an out door shopping mall, http://www.simon.com/mall/default.aspx?ID=1236), grab a quick bite at any of the places there and let him check out the Vans Skate Park they have (http://www.vans.com/vans/skateparks.asp).
If he likes swordfighting and knights/pirates, there's Medieval Times (http://www.medievaltimes.com/) and Pirate's Dinner Adventure (http://www.piratesdinneradventure.com/). You might also want to see what music is playing at the House of Blues in DTD that night and do dinner and a concert there.

I think the ESPN sports bar would be awesome. Its not just a bar its also a family friendly restaurant. The Rain Forest Cafe is excellent as well.

We went to Joe's on my bday, well the first day of my trip so not my actual bday, but they gave me a wooden pony and a cowboy hat and had me ride around the restaurant while the whole dang place sang to me! LOL It was hilarious!!!!!

Remind me not to go there on my birthday! :scared1: :rotfl:

Benihanas is always lots of fun for a bday. Theres one on Ball not far from Disneyland.

I also agree with the earlier idea of Midevil Times where you eat your 'feast' and watch jousting etc. It's expensive and tickets should be purchased in advance for busy nights.

My boys like ESPN Zone because of the video games....There are a bunch of them upstairs. You can sign up prior to going on the ESPN Zone website. You get a few games for free loaded on the game card when you arrive and put money on the card.

:rolleyes:Plus, they like the food choices....burgers, wings, etc...

hth.

My 14 year old son picked ESPN too. I just hope I can drag him away from the TV screens and into the parks. He loves sports ;)
