I actually listened to this this morning because I listened to the Bob show yesterday. Since they had it on his DIS tribute page, I've played it at least once a month. It's very touching.

Tremendous song - tremendous soundtrack actually. Wicked is a powerful show - what a touching story hearing about the podcast crew going to see it.

I love that song and mostly every other song from Wicked. Now whenever I listen to One Short Day (we sang it in musical theater two years ago) I think of Bob.

Were Andrew Lloyd Webber or Tim Rice involved with Wicked? I just saw JC Superstar live and was reminded just how incredible those guys are. I've only heard great things about Wicked and never paid attention to the soundtrack. Again, that song is incredible.

Unfortunately, I did not find this podcast until recently. Listening to the Bob Show, I'm sad that I did not get to know him through the years, but your show definately gave me a small glimpse into who he was. Thank you so much for sharing; and BTW Pete, you profusely inhale for making me cry at the end, I had to reapply my makeup after lunch!

Yes that was a good ending to the show. I got all weepy on my run today listening to it. I cry at everything!

I might have to go get that soundtrack... I saw Wicked a few years back and loved it. Maybe I'll have to go see it again somewhere!

I've never hear Andrew Lloy Webber or Tim Rice associated with Wicked. Stephen Schwartz wrote the music and lyrics for Wicked, Godspell and Pippen and worked on the music for a number of Disney movies including Pocahontas and The Hunchback of Notre Dame.
