We used GardenGrocer for our trip last week. I placed the order over the internet then followed up with a phone call about delivery (and wine request). I called after we were in our rental car to give an approximate arrival time, then I called again with our villa number. Brian (the owner) said he was on WDW property and would be to our room in about 10 minutes.

Order was correct, fruit fresh, items cold or frozen. Would not hesitate to use them again!

So will they deliver Wine/Beer???? That's what I need LOL!

I am planning on using GardenGrocer this weekend. I have spoken to Brian. He is very helpful.
The website has certain items and if they are not on the site you can add them to check-out. Brian will then e-amil and/or call to give you the total w/ items not on web "menu".
I will let you know how it goes!

All hail the beer man!! :worship: :worship: :worship:

Seriously, that's a bonus. I took the surgeon general's recommendation about having a glass of wine a day to heart--and got larger wine glasses! LOL! If Brian will bring me wine and DH beer, he'll have our business every trip. If he asks me for ID, he'll get an even bigger tip. :teeth:

So glad to hear all the great reports about GG!

Yes, they'll deliver wine and beer. It's not listed on their website, though. I told Brian what we wanted (pinot grigio 1.5 ltr for $12-$15, and gave a few brand names). He called me with the brands he could find and I picked from those. We're not picky! FYI --- no mark up on the wine.

One more thing --- if you need more of anything during your stay, they'll deliver it without a delivery charge!

We're trying GG Sunday. We were going to order a few things from the resort store, but decided on GG after we saw we could get a lot more for the same $. It did throw me off a little that there was no spot to request a delivery date, but there was a box for special instructions. In my excitement of placing the order, I had a brain freeze and almost forgot to include a date. Prices are about the same or a little more that my local supermarkets, just without store sales and my coupons. Two more packing days....... :moped: :jumping1:

I'll be using Gardengrocer this Sunday as well. I'll report back on how it goes. Must say their website is the best I've seen. So easy to buy groceries, find what you need, etc. Paid with Paypal.

It sounds like Garden Grocer would be perfect for us too. As a foreigner it is incredibly helpful to have a list to choose from since we aren't familiar with a lot of the American brand names. The fact that they deliver beer and wine is definitely a plus! :teeth:

We used them on our trip last week as well, they were great-we received what we ordered, it was there before we were. They brought the cold items in marked insullated bags which were stored in the Bell Services fridge. No complaints and we will use them on the next trip-I already started a list of how to adjust our order for next trip! LOL

Not just difficult for folks like you from out of the country. They don't have brands down in Florida that we're accustomed to here in Chicago.

We used them in early January and they were great. We prepaid with paypal so Brian just left our order with Bell Services. It was all bagged so the cold items were kept cold. They are also helpful at adding items not on the website. My brother in law wanted rice cakes and a quick email got them added to our list. They even got the brand and flavor we asked for. I highly recommend them and will be using them again.

Love to hear these reviews. So most of you feel the prices are comparable to your own grocery stores? I too find myself wondering about brands being different that ones in MN. Not that that's huge, but it's hard winging it with something different, hoping it's going to work out. I think I'll have to check out their site again.

We just returned from Beach Club Villas and used Garden Grocer. Everything went very smoothly. We ordered eggs, bread, milk, yogurt, fruit, as well as beer and wine. He delivered everything to our villa at the requested time. I would definitely recommend them!

How far in advance do you need to place your order? We are going during Spring Break in April and I don't want the delivery times to be full.

When I was on the GG site, I didn't see anything about a delivery charge. Is there one? Or is it absorbed in the products prices?

There was a $10 delivery charge when we ordered. I am not sure how far in advance you would need to order for a spring break delivery. We ordered less than two weeks prior to our requested delivery date and had no problem. :)

I have used thisservice and as was posted here it was great. Brian is very accomadating and easy going. I too orderes beer and wine and other items not on the list. The prices did not seem to be marked up. I find fruit prices in Fla. to be higher in general, anyway.
There is a $10 fee for $50 orders or more. If the order is over a certain amt., delivery is free. Not sure of the amount-maybe $150-$200.

I plan on using GardenGrocer again.

Does anyone remember a grocery web site that had a "blank grocery list"??
Items to choose from by checking it off??

BTW...I cant get on a site called "wegoshop"...maybe I've got the wrong site address??
HELP!! :confused3
