Great experience going through security without id. Don´t stress if you lose your license.

I had a very positive encounter with tsa in MCO when I needed to get back home after losing my license traveling down from Boston. When I got to the security line I asked an officer that walked by what to do. He asked me what id I happened to have; I gave him a medicare card and credit card. He had me follow him to another officer which looked at the cards and then I was escorted past everyone to the x-ray machine; the other people on line had to wait for me. He kept checking that I was following him. I took off my shoes, put my stuff in a bin, walked through the machine and waited while another guy swabbed my stuff telling him I was a 1+1.(interesting code) That was it! I thought the rest of my family went to the gate since I couldn´t find them. They took a long time to get through.

I am thinking, being a very nonthreatening looking 65 year old woman traveling with the little grandkids was a very low risk situation. And to top it off, my license was waiting in the mail when we arrived home.

Good news OP, on both the ease of TSA and getting ur license back.
I happened to find a drivers license while out walking this morning. It was not a local address and I knocked on a couple of doors and located the owner. Who was stunned as she said it probably fell out when she exited her car as she was visiting
. Glad I found it and found her.

The post office had damaged the original envelop and placed it in one of their own so we weren´t able to ascertain who had sent it to us: was it the tsa, airport, or just a good person?
