Thought I'd share this...
My mother asked me what we wanted (needed) for Christmas this year and I told her that we'd like a new card table and chairs because our new puppy chewed all the seats off of our old chairs
. On Christmas Eve, mom gave us our present...a new card table and chairs, as requested, from Bed, Bath and Beyond. On Christmas afternoon, we set them up and we started playing Apples to Apples. About 10 minutes into the game, DD7 says, "Mom, the dog won't stop chewing on my chair!"

Sure enough, she'd chewed a hole about 3" long in the padded seat. I don't know who made me more angry...the dog, or my daughter for not saying something sooner. The next day, I went to the store with my 20% coupon to get a new chair. I also ended up buying a karaoke machine that was on clearance for the kids. I casually told the cashier why I only needed one chair and she told me that they would replace my chewed up one FOR FREE! Huh? MY dog chews up the chair and you will replace it FOR FREE? "Yup, just bring it back and we'll be happy to exchange it for a new one." I told her that I didn't have any sort of receipt...no problem!
So, we get home and the girls set up their new karaoke machine...love it! Me too...it's so fun to see how bad I can sing
. The next day, DD9 notices that one of the microphones is no longer working. I grabbed the receipt and the chewed-up chair and headed to the store. I walked up to the counter and explained what I needed to do, but I half-expected to hear a different story about the chair. Nope! The lady said just go pick out a new chair and new karaoke machine and I'd be all set. She wasn't kidding! I got the items and walked back up to the front. As I stood in line, she looked at me and noticed that I did not have any additional purchases. She waved to me and said, "You're all set! Have a nice day!" You could have knocked me over with a feather! That was BY FAR the BEST customer service experience I have ever had over the holiday season. This was just 3 DAYS after Christmas. I told them they have just made a new customer for life
