This week, the panel addressed some more of your questions including one very important one if you're considering becoming a Travel Agent! Check it out!

Great show again this week, especially the whole ending "wanting to be a Dreams agent" ending segment. And it did not sound snobby at all - you guys are a top notch business, who came from nowhere, and worked your tails off to become who and what you are today. You are therefore entitled to hire top notch, specific skill sets, because you are a top notch self-made company! Anybody that doesn't understand that doesn't need to be working for you anyway.

While I am not interested in being a travel agent, I really enjoyed that segment as well. My family has booked our first WDW trip through Dreams and we have been extremely impressed with the service. We've gotten a discount and "perk" I'm sure we wouldn't have known about on our own. I'd give our agent a shout out, but my mom has been working with her so I've forgotten her name. Apologies. :earsboy:

I simply adore the Dreams podcast! There's a casual intimacy about it that makes it sound like you're listening to three friends share information and knowledge about travel. Podcasts require a tremendous amount of work. I'm so glad that the team makes time in their busy schedule to produce and record this show. It's become the podcast highlight of my Monday!

I totally agree...

I really enjoyed this one as well!!! It was a perfect explanation of why just because you are the Disney go-to gal or guy in your family/circle of friends/office, that is NOT the same as being a professional travel agent. I love talking to people about resorts/restaurants/attractions I like or dislike and giving tips based on my experience. That's fun! But it would be a buzzkill to deal with all of the nitty gritty details of reservations. That's why I have a travel agent and tell anyone who seeks my advice to get one!

Totally agree, Laurie. Which is what I've told everybody all through the years who has asked me to help be their "Disney Guru" (their name for me, not mine!) :) They all said "you'd make a great travel agent", but I begged to differ - If it's FUN to do, I don't feel I HAVE to do it, and I'm HELPING you do it, and working WITH you, it's fine. If it becomes NOT fun, and I'm working FOR for you, I'm out. And I never asked for a commission either. :rotfl:
