Great Dinner at Tony's

I had seen bad reviews about Tony's in MK and just wanted to say we had a great dinner. We had called for ADR's for any sitdown in MK but were repeatedly told none were avail. Walked in the park at dinner time and went to the podium. They said ok but 30 min wait for the 4 of us- 5 min later they sat us. We had Blake as a server and he was terrific! Food was all delicious. We had sev apps, and dif entrees-all were very good. DH grew up in a family rest bus. so he is pickier than a lot and he also loved his seafood diablo.
We came out as spectro was passing by so had a great view for that as well. We will be back again.

We've always had wonderful lunches at Tony's--it's a perfect location for the afternoon parade! and in past years, there were always hard-to-find characters strolling around the Kodak shop for fabulous pictures. Last year no characters, but DD and I had fun watching the "princesses" from BBB get their studio pictures taken while waiting for our ADR to be called. I wanted to hop on and encourage folks to try it too

My wife and I have always loved the location but not the food. We've not been there since our honeymoon in 2005. Back then it was bad service and the food was less than desireable. I've had this on the plan for the past five years but often remove it due to that bad experience.

Thanks for sharing. It is nice to hear good things about Tony's.

I have always wanted to eat there, but with so many great places it is hard to fit it in.

Good to hear! Just made an ADR for there because I love the location. With mixed reviews on food, it's great to read a really positive one!

We had a bad experience there. We had to wait over an hour for our food, and it wasn't cooked properly and the server was very rude. We haven't been back since. It is a great view but it is the experience that we remember. I hope that the mixed reviews have made them change a few things. I am glad that the few posts that I've read have been positive.

I am so glad to hear that you had a good time at Tony's. We love it there and eat there for our last night every trip. It always makes me sad to read some of the bad experiences people have had there.

We've eaten at Tony's for the last 3 years and have never been disappointed. The service was always top notch, waiting never an issue and the food delicious. We are looking forward to our August vacation and once again eating at Tony's. My daughter 12, also loves Tony's and always requests that we eat there!

good to hear - we have an adr here for our last meal and of all the times we;ve been to WDW we have never gone due to the bad reviews. We're rolling the dice and hope it will be as enjoyable as you found yours to be.

Looking forward to eating there this upcoming trip--got my ADR
I'm hoping that we can get seating in the sunroom area--it's so pretty but
I'm wondering if it is hot in there--we're going end of Sept. first of Oct.

Thanks for the positive review of Tony's. I'm eating dinner there for the first time in a few months. What exactly did everyone have? Pictures also would be great if you have any.

I was nervous about going there last March due to the negative reviews, but I liked it. Service was slightly wonky (not bad, just strange -- entrees arrived a minute after appetizers), but the food was good. Longest wait for a table all week, though, and that was for an early (5:30) dinner ADR.

Thanks for the review, especially such an enthusiastic one! I have always wanted to try Tony's because I love the location and the theme, but I have always been scared away by the constant criticism. A few more posts like this one, and I'm finally going next trip.

we were considering it for the 1st time too for Oct...anybody have pics of the sunroom..is it anything like CPalace?
