Mousesavers has just posted some info on FB (and I think their website, too) about some great rental car deals in 2011. I just reserved 2 minivans for our big family vacation the last week of June next year with National, picking up/dropping off at the Disney Car Care Center, for $220/ea after all taxes and fees.

Hope some of you are able to get in on this deal!!

thank you very much. We scored a full size car for our 10 days in March for $205--that's a great price.

TFS.

Thanks for the information. I just got a restaurants GC for $2!!:cool1::thumbsup2:rotfl2:

Can I ask how you got that great price? I searched for the week of Feb. 5-12 and a mininivan is $600 - I think it's still value season at WDW then, but I can't seem to find a rental car that does'nt break the bank. We are staying offsite & will definately need a car for 3 adults & 3 kids.

Check mousesavers.com. it's on their landing page...it walks you through it.

You just saved my Mom $100 bucks! :thumbsup2

I have been having a heck of a time renting a car for 9 days (Feb 11-19), lowest I could get was $375 for a full-size SUV from Alamo. Last year I had a minivan for 10 days for $303 so this was really annoying!

I got her a crossover for $275! It is smaller but will work just out just fine. As long as my Dad doesn't have to deal with packing a trunk (vs an open storage area like a SUV, van or crossover) our vacation will get off to a much better start!

THANK YOU!!! I just scored a crossover for $198 for 8 days (before fees). We are doing WDW and a 4 day cruise and this is less than a shuttle to the cruise for a family of 5 :worship:

Thanks!!! We were planning on driving next June, but now I think we might fly instead!

Checked those days and unfortunately the cheap rate is not available for minivans @mco (only on a few of the smaller cars/crossover). It is available for minivans @ CCC. If you have to rent from MCO and can't get a cheap rate on a van it might be worth it to rent 2 cars from mco @ the cheap rate. (Although if you are driving to the parks and need to pay for parking that could be pricey.)

Hooray:cool1:! I got a 7 passenger minivan for $169 for 7 days. We need to pick it up at the CCC vs. the airport - so we'll need to take a cab to the CCC, but this still saves a lot - thanks so much! Stacked the National deal w/ a 15% Continental Airline contract ID for an extra $30 savings!. So the grand total was 221.87 - great deal!

Thanks OP :woohoo: Got an SUV for $189 total with all fee's using my Entertainment card discount ($30 off 5 or more day rental) and the Continental 15% code for Memorial Day week!

No need for a cab...they have free transportation from the Disney hotels/parks. We've done it twice. Last year they picked us up at CBR and the year before at the kennels at the TTC.

SO we have never done this before. How does pick-up and drop off work?

Kim

I passed this info along to my sister who just saved a TON for her April trip!!
Thanks

I was so excited about this offer - until I remembered that we aren't flying into MCO this time.

Unfortunately it didn't work for where we are landing....

Awesome! Thanks! Just booked a minivan for June. One week rental for 197.78 including taxes and fees! Amazing!

The people of the Budget Board are the best! :yay:
