Found a great scrapbook store website!! They are based in Utah and do mail order!
www.crazyscrap.com
They have a special on quickkutz

you get... quickutz hand tool and cradle, binder, an alphabet, three shape dies, a pack of 25 sheet bazzil monochromatic cardstock, and a pack of 60 bazzil eyelets
all for $185.44

and no S&H charge for orders over $100

they take paypal or you can do credit card by phone or mail a check... if you call and order by phone (they are so nice-ask for Stacie or Jenette) you can pick any alphabet (not just the ones offered online through the special) and you can pick any three die shapes (online they offer a star, a heart, and a bee)

they ship out the same day you order UPS so depending on where you live it could take a few dayswww.crazyscrap.com

oh....so tempting! thanks for the sale info maybe I'll
spend some more $$ this week on scrapbooking supplies...:p

I just bought this set today...have you recieved yours already? I was wondering how long it takes for delivery...I can't wait to get mine!!! I was at a scrapbook retreat this weekend & one of the scrappers had it....i had to have one too!

I ordered mine on Friday 7/9 and received it on Friday 7/16. About 5 buisness days! It is coming from Utah and I live in Maryland so that wasn't too bad! It comes UPS. I love the bazzil paper that comes with the set! They sent me the reds. It's the 5x8 size wich is perfect for using with your quickkutz (you don't have to waste an entire 12x12 sheet!)

Hope you enjoy yours!!:Pinkbounc

I was a bad bad girl. Nobody tell my husband! I didn't get the set, just the cutter and enough dies for free shipping!

I ordered the special and it came yesterday. I was playing with it last night and really like it a lot!! Thanks for posting about the sale!!

Man, this is so tempting!
I own the sizzix already and hardly ever use it. I find it such an issue to store. I have the storage thing, but it is just so stinking big.
I had no idea that quickkutz had so many shapes to choose from, and now that I've seen this I wonder if I should try it out.
What do you guys think? If I don't use my sizzix very often (becaue it's a pain to pull out) do you think I would find the quickkutz useful, or should I just walk away slowly?

I ordered mine on Monday & it came yesterday!! It's awesome...I recommend it over Sizzix because it is so portable. Most of the scrapbooking I do is away from home. I like how you keep all your dies in a small binder. I think when I get the 40% off coupons from Michael's craft store I can buy another font! It's worth the $$ when you think about how much you spend on sticker letters.

Scrapaddict -
where in Texas do you live? I live in Odessa, TX and our Michael's doesn't carry quickutz. If they did, I think I would take the plunge without question. Wondering if I should look for a coupon the next time I head to another part of the state.

I'm in Houston/Pasadena. I haven't checked out the Michael's here...but I saw them in Tyler, TX. The fonts were $114 a set....Now that I'm thinking about it...I also went to Scrapbook Junction there & I may have seen them there....sorry, I'm not positive. Do you have any scrapbook stores in your area? I know a couple here will accept the michael's coupons for their items...yes, even the 40% off one!! ü Go to the quickutz webpage to see where you can get them close to you...call & see if they'll accept Michael's coupon!! It's worth the trouble!http://www.quickutz.com/quickutz/public/locator/us.asp

Thanks, scrapaddict! I don't have a scrapbook store nearby (closest is about 2 hours away), but I will be going to Dallas next week so I may give that a try!

Hey scrapaddict I live in Friendswood! Do you belong to a group that crops or do you go to crop nights at your LSS. I just started scrapping so I usually go to the LSS since I can use all their cool stuff.

I'm a teacher, so during the summer I have been able to find different means of scrapping!
I hang out with one group every friday afternoon in Channelview (free for anyone to attend). The same group have different meeting places each month. e-mail me for more info at littlelee@hoston.rr.com .
I'm also preparing to set up a monthly scrap & sit for our school's Home & School Assocation. For a small fee you can come scrap & bring your kids to be babysat while you get pages done!
I also know someone in Friendswood who does crops at her home.:sunny:
