Great Deal on Eyeglasses

Just wanted to share... I live in a small town so eyeglasses are very expensive, in the $500 range....

Clearlycontacts.ca now sells glasses! You can order up to 4 sets of frames in a trial pack for free, they fedex it to you, you try them on, make your pick (or not) and send them back, with the postage pre-paid....

Until Feb 28th, they are super cheap. I just ordered designer frames, with lenses, anti-scratch, anti-glare, UV protection... for $88!

Even after Feb 28th, they will still be a good deal at $177.

I'm not sure how it will work with insurance, but at that price, I'm willing to risk it! They give you an official receipt with your name and everything so I can't see why not...

We have Sunlife (through work) and I just submitted my contacts receipt from this site and it went through. In the past if I pay for shipping they won't pay for that....they just pay for the actual contacts/glasses as per the receipt.

I always buy my contacts via ClearlyContacts. As noted above, the acutal "eye prescription" portion of your order is covered by insurance, but the shipping (or any add ons like contact lens cases, solution, etc) is not.

In reality, I don't think I've ever paid more than $10 shipping... so I consider it a steal! Will have to let DH know about the glasses option, he'll be in heaven

I sent my trial back on Friday and received notification that they have shipped my real ones today! I can't wait!

WOW! Thanks for posting charm73. I've been getting ripped off on my contacts for years! Same ones are on there for 1/2 what I pay my eye doc, actually the lenses are the same price but I was paying $50/box (so $100 for both eyes) as an ordering fee - the fee is more than the lenses! Have to go for my exam next month and need new glasses - I know where I'll be getting them

I just got the trial glasses last night very excited.... Showed my sister she couldn't belive You could get a fill set of glasses for under $50..... Now I just have to make an eye appointment.

They have extended the sale until March 31th.. I am debating on this since I try one about 40 pairs until I find the one I like I am not sure this going to work for me, can you order many trial pairs?

My understanding is that you can have the trial pack send out to you several times.... How ever I don't know if they are willing to do 10 times 10*4=40 LOL

I usually try on 40 pairs too, but I found a pair I love in my first trial pack. I think you probably have a general idea of what colours/shapes look decent on your face.
