I think the refurbished 60D has been selling for around that for some time, probably since the 70D was introduced.

but amazingly the old models still produce good images !

there's probably a deep discount prices on the old 60D everywhere until inventory is gone

no, I'm aware of that site and the "market watch" section on POTN but I'm in no hurry. I'm hoping the mirrorless models will be good enough to shoot sports and BIF some day, a smaller traveling rig would be nice
