Great deal: 37% RO discount at Poly w Travelocity

I couldn't stand calling for the 100+ time to get all circuits busy so I followed some advice and went to Travelocity. 5 Nights at Poly (Nov 15-20) for $1664.41 including tax and 10SUMMER code. Garden View Room, but similar discounts on Lagoon and Theme Park Views.

We were doing Garden View already and AAA discount of 10% got us to $2371.30. Rack rate is $2630 those nights, so we're at ~37% off.

Travelocity website says it includes Magical Express, so once this situation dies down we will cancel our current RO discount and link up our Travelocity reservation to get our ME luggage tags. It also includes EMH if that's a concern for others.

Only caveat is that Travelocity requires full payment at time of booking.

Not sure how it compares to rack rate, but it's quoting $235 night at WL and you can add another discount code. Someone was showing one $75 off two nights. The 10% $300+ Summer10 code may work, not sure if it's on $300 for total cost or $300 per night cost.

i think its just the week we are going... wl is $360+ a night... what i already booked with AAA discount is giving me a better rate. Hoping that maybe some people switched to different resorts and a discount will open up for us! =)

I put Orlando as destination checking hotel only along with dates. Then, it jumps to all Orlando hotels. There's a tab for DisneyWorld resorts at the top of the list. Then, you can scroll through all of the resorts/prices for your dates. Remember to try the codes to get the additional discounts and figure out which is better between Summer10 and the one listed in the $75 off thread.

Or the Hot13 code above is even better. You might get close to 40% off rack rate. Wow! Wish I had known that code at the time.

I just went to yahoo and typed in Travelocity and promo code and it took me to a website that had the code. There were a few listed so I just played around with a few of them until I got the lowest price with HOT13. I used it about an hour ago. I hope it works!

I keep going back and forth on whether to book this. I have a BC reservation with Disney, but so far I can't get the room discount. I would save $670 if I book YC through Travelocity. I've never used them before and am nervous. Do you all have any experience with them? What to do, what to do?

I've never booked through Travelocity for anything but airfare before. They've been around over a decade, so they're not a fly by night operation. Given their television advertising on major sports events they're not on a shoestring budget either. They are basically a travel agency without a storefront.

Considering they advertise that their program included Magical Express and EMH I was comfortable. In other threads other posters have said that you can link your reservation to your Disney on-line account so everything is in one place. But, it takes about 48 hours for Travelocity to cross reference everything in Disney's computers.

Woo! I just used the SUMMER10 and saved 37% off rack rate or 10% off the Disney rate I got on-line this morning. That's an extra $200, roughly! Now I still need to "work" the last 3 nights. So far, Magical Vacations is the best for that.

I just booked WL-woods view for November 16-22 (six nights), used the 10SUMMER code. Total was $1468.27. ~37%!!!

OK, I did go ahead and book YC with Travelocity to save $670 from our previous BC reservation. Plus we went from Standard View to Lagoon/Pool View. I wish I would have thought to check Ebates. I ended up going through Swagbucks and will earn $50 in Amazon GC for that.
