DH has been looking for a pair of waterproof boots for work. He is a delivery driver, and is in and out of his truck all day, every day, regardless of weather.
I found a decent pair in the daily markdown area of LL Bean.com. My intention was to order them, and have them shipped (for free) to the Mansfield, MA store for pickup. Well, I searched and searched for the option, and could not find it, so I logged on to their live chat help.
Roger was my rep, and he and I chatted online for about 10 minutes. Long story short, no one could figure out WHY that option was not showing for our specific item. Roger then offered to call me, take the order over the phone, and ship the order to the Mansfield store.

. Hey so two thumbs up for LL Bean, love them and Lands End, excellent customer service, always! I am curious tho, I wonder why he didn't just ship it to your house at that point? I know theyll ship it to the stores for free, but why didn't he just take the extra step and just ship it to you?
