Thanks to RainyUK for her post on the BA offer of free World Traveller Plus (one way only) if you book before 31st May and for travel next year (excluding major holiday periods).

For £665 per person, my friend and I have got World Traveller Plus both ways (bigger seats, more legroom, separate cabin) and 7 nights' at Courtyard by Marriott at Lake Buena Vista. What's more she's considering the £30 return flight from Manchester to meet me at Gatwick. The second week we will be staying on site at OKW but the offer was conditional on booking a at least 7 nights' accommodation. It actually works out well because next year is a heavy one on DVC points as I will be back with DH and family later in the year.

I thought I was pretty 'savvy' about flights, but this offer is one I would definitely have missed if not for these boards and RainyUK ::yes::

Pootle - glad it helped you - we all can't wait to try out their version - for the past 6 years we have tried Virgin - but figured we would at least try BA & the free upgrade "swung it" for us. Also remember if booked through BA holidays you are also able to change your booking without charge for 14 days after the date of booking. The other big difference for us was that you didn't have to pay in full in advance - a lot of money when there are 5 travelling. We just need to sort out the 7 seater now - so will be on the look out for a "good deal" for that one. :D

I've flown WT Plus with BA before and it's very good. Haven't used Virgin's PE though so I can't comment on the difference. I normally book my flights separately and so was pleasantly surprised when I was told about the deposit only (balance by Christmas) and 14 days in which to cancel/make changes.

When I go with DH we always have a mini-van, even for the 2 of us and have found Airline Network http://www.airline-network.co.uk/ very competitive. I've seen others recommend them on these boards and have used them four or five times with no problems - you might try them for your 'good deal' Rainy UK. Thanks again.

BTW I love the flat beds in BA's club class and am sure you will enjoy it on your outward journey, although they really come in to their own on the overnight return.

That is a brilliant price for premium flights,I've paid more than that always for Virgin PE:p
