I JUST BOUGHT THROUGH orbitz great air fare from stl. to mco my ? s are a. i bought 8 months in advance good thing or bad thing ?? B. getting into mco at 9:28 pm. should get lux. hotel near air port or pick up rental car and go to radisson near port that eve ??? C. how much and what size luggage can i take on plane with each pass. ?? D. what size rental can hold 4- totes 2- 4 carry ons and 4- rolling totes 48 inch??? trunks in compacts ?? we have a jeep always take storage container on top. E. what about avis ??

We got $110 rt on Southwest, on an internet special, the price from the other carriers tends to run about $160 rt when they have a sale. Otherwise, $210 is about the usual for 21-day advance-purchase. You did just fine.

12 pieces of luggage seems excessive. Are you sure you're going to need that much stuff? A compact absolutely will not carry that much unless the back seat is empty of passengers. Even a full-size might be tight. The profiles on the rental company sites show the number of bags that the trunk should easily hold. I'd think about getting a smaller car and using the $$ saved to invest in better luggage. You'll be going broke in porter's tips with that many bags to move.
