How mutch is the tip for the pizzaboy if he delivers a pizza at your hotelroom?
Also 20% ?

Gratuity is included when guests use the DDP to have pizza delivered. That's how Disney can justify charging two credits.

First check to see if there is a delivery charge, and if part of that is a tip.
Otherwise, just tip whatever you would at home.

I know that besides the "Disney" pizza, there are other pizzerias that deliver to the Disney resorts. I believe that some charge delivery fees. I saved this text from another post, sorry I cannot give the poster credit :

A 20% tip is expected at full service, sit down restaurants. At buffets or self serve, 10-15% is acceptable depending on what services are rendered by the waitstaff. If you get your own drink, your own refills, stack and clear your own plates--go toward the 10% figure. If the waitstaff actually gets your drink order and checks frequently for refills, or if you order bar service, 15% is more like it. Regarding food delivery (i.e., pizza) if the delivery fee does not include a tip, 10% is adequate. Frankly even if it does, I usually will ante up a few extra dollars for the delivery person. Hope this helps...:goodvibes

Whatever service fee that's tacked on to a room service check is normally enough of a tip.

The offsite pizza places aren't that close to some of the Disney resorts. Some of the pizza deals may not be more then $10-$15. I'd probably tip at least $2, even if it was more then 20%. I think most of the delivery people use their own car and pay for their own gas. I don't know how you check but places that charge for delivery may give that money to the delivery person.,

I tip 20% for pizza delivery both in WDW and at home. I don't count the delievery charge as a tip unless it says "gratuity included" because the delivery people don't usually receive the delivery charge.

Please bear in mind when calculating your tip that the pizza delivery person isn't merely finding their way from the kitchen to a table with your plate - they're actually packing your food into their vehicle and bringing it to you from another location. IMHO that's a good bit of effort.

Tip your delivery driver and tip them well - they absolutely deserve it! :goodvibes

Thanks guys.
I find it always difficult to get te wright balance in such matters.

Keep in mind too that they may not allow the pizza to be delivered right to your room. I've noticed that at some Disney hotels, you must come to the main lobby to met the driver and get your pizza. Not sure if this is official policy, or varies from hotel to hotel.
