Gratuity for groups of 6

Hello brillant disers! we are planning a 2012 disney trip with myself, DH, DS and Dsil and her 2 DS's....for a grand total of 6...my question is...if we are on the DxDp do we have to pay a gratuity for each meal because we are a party of 6? I thought it was 18% that you automatically had to pay?!

I am closing this as it is a tipping question, and they are limited to the Tipping Information Thread on the main board.

Yes, if there are 6 or more of you at the table (including children and babies), there will be an automatic 18% tip added at all TS restaurants. This goes whether you are on the dining plan or not on the dining plan.

The gratuity is automatically added to the bill at a TS meal if you all eat together. No automatic gratuity for CS meals.

If you have any TS meals that not everyone will be at (say 4 of the 6), the gratuity is NOT automatically added. Just a head's up so that you know to add it in that case...
