Cast are myself, my mother and snow white obsessed Orla aged three and baby Dearbhla only six months.

Flying in tomorrow, landing at CDG at eleven am. Booked into Sequoina Lodge for three nights with a very late return flight on Thursday

Meals booked, lucky nugget saloon Tuesday lunch
Wild west show Tuesday evening
Cafe mickey wednsday evening
Princess lunch Thursday

Just so excited about seeing my three year old's reaction to it all. She was only twenty months last time we were there and was
mesmerised. This time she knows more characters especially princesses. Have been showing her you tube clips, photos from last trip and playing Disney songs in the car.

Most looking forward to the parade, the princess lunch, the playhouse Disney show and the pirates ride.

Not looking forward to queuing. Last time we were there was mid dec and longest queue was fifteen mins for space mountain, we just walked onto most things. Though have been in magic kingdom florida on fourth July so am fully aware of high season queues at disney!

Full report when I get back.

Only one more sleep!!! :yay: I bet your DD is excited now!

3 is a great age, it's amazing how much more they get out of the trip and the interaction they have with the characters. I think you will have an amazing time at Auberge - it is princesstastic!! princess:

Hope you have a great trip - we loved the Sequoia Lodge! Looking forward to hearing all about it when you get back! :thumbsup2

It's great for Granny too - my Mum came with us on our girls only trip and really enjoyed it! :thumbsup2

Well we made it back in one piece with a full autograph book and a little girl asking to go back tomorrow.

We arrived at sequoia lodge just after five on the monday, shattered after journey. Given the park was shutting at seven we decided to take it handy and hit the park in the morning. Got fantasyland breakfasts for the Tuesday and Thursday mornings on check in and went to our room. In yosmite lodge, room was grand. Two double beds And a cot. Bath and shower in en suite. We sussed that there was no need to go near main hotel on way to parks, and was a very short walk to the village. Delighted with the location, as last stay was in HNy and this was only two minutes further on. After unpacking and feeding the baby we headed over to the village. Orla so excited by the Disney store where we picked up an autograph book and pen, little did she realise what was in store the next day! Had dinner in the rainforest cafe. Fish for orla and my mum and I had fajiatas. All very tasty. Another walk up and downthe village and back to room, ready for the day of fun the next day!

Laptop has been broken on me - and have been dying to finish my report!! Here is the next part anyway.

First Full Day - Tuesday

Dress for Orla (3) - Tinkerbelle

Breakfast was at Plaza Gardens at 8.15 so our first entrance into the park - mind you Orla was that excited passing the Disney Store in Disney Village I was nearly worried how she would react J Well as always, that first view of the castle from main street never fails to impress. Magic!!
We had a lovely breakfast - so all fed and watered off we headed to Fantasyland. First stop was “It’s a Small World” - baby Dearbhla into sling and joined the very small queue. Orla was mesmerised - the refrain the whole way around was “Look, Look, Look!!” ( taken from Little Einsteins of course) . So much to see there - mental note made to try and go on that later in the trip and let her sit on the other side of the boat. Next stop was Lancelot’s carosuel as requested by a certain little girl, though when we got to it she was a little too scared of the big horses so we grabbed ourselves a carriage and off we went. Baby was fast asleep as this stage. Then we headed over to get Fast Passes to Peter Pan - but queue seemed quite small so we just joined it - was only about 10 mins in the end. We enjoyed that - a bit dark though for Orla.

We had forgotten to pick up a map on the way in so at that stage we decided to wander back towards the entrance to pick one up - we were passing Casey’s Corner when we spotted Winnie the Pooh. So had to be done - would be the first character to sign the book, and no better one - Winnie the Pooh is who she cuddles every night in bed. So we joined the queue - was long but not too bad as the All Stars Express passed while we were there - the excitement when she saw Tigger and Eeyore was magic. Then we reached the top and we were beside the bear himself - I have never seen her so so excited, she could not move she was that much in awe - then she ran and gave him a big hug around the belly ( cue a big AW from the queue!) , he signed her book, posed for photos and then asked for a kiss and another hug. Well that would have been worth the trip itself - the look on her face…:love:

We had lunch booked for one at the Lucky Nugget Saloon - so it was about 12.20 at this stage - so though we might try and get Buzz Lightyear in before then. So off we went - we had queued about halfway , when we were stopped and told that babies under a year could not go on - a bit annoying as wish were told before we had started queuing. But anyway Nana took Dearbhla out and on I continued with Orla - we enjoyed that and not sure how but she managed to beat my score in the shooting of the aliens!
Next stop was lunch - so off we headed to Frontierland and into Lucky Nugget Saloon. We got a table very near the door - it was quite crowded. First character she noticed was Tigger! Problem though that he seemed to be making his way towards us on a number of times, but got swamped by other people getting up from their tables and chasing him - so we never got to meet him there in the end. We got Mickey and Pluto to sign the book, but again we had the same problem with Goofy. Was a bit disappointing. Food was ok - good enough choice, but think you would need to eat an awful lot of it to make the price worthwhile. Orla was delighted she had met Mickey and Pluto - but did keep saying that Tigger never came over to her.
Next stop after that was back to Fantasyland to the SnowWhite ride ( for my little princess ) - she seemed to be terrified through it ( especially the witch’s transformation!) - but she has been talking about this ride every since she came back, so must not have been that bad.. Next was another request to go on the Carosuel - again too frightened of the horses, so back on the carriage…

Then it was time for the show in the central plaza - we headed over towards the front of the stage and hung out at the railings and watched it - it was really excellent - all the new generation were there - great singing and dancing. Baby needed feeding and Nana wanted to look around Sleeping Beauty’s castle - Orla did not want to go - so we sat on a bench outside the castle and chilled for a bit.

Then it was parade time!! Took our positions outside Belle Note - great spot. Parade was brilliant - highlight was when Snow White blew Orla a special kiss. Fantastic.
After that , we decided to dead back towards the village as were booked in for the Buffalo Bill’s Wild West Show for 6.30. The two kids conked out in the buggies - no surprise there really. We really enjoyed the show - saw it before without Mickey and the gang in it - but its nice to have them part of it - really made it for Orla. She was a bit scared of Annie Oakley shooting - but she got into the swing of it all. And our section won the games - Yippee Do!!

Day one over - we headed back to the Sequoia Lodge for bed and to get ready for Wednesday!

Great trip report...can't wait for the next installments. Sounds like you really enjoyed yourselves.

Awww, Winnie The Pooh!!! :cloud9: We've never queued for him yet, but think he'll be on the "to do list" for next time! Sounds like a great start to the trip! :goodvibes

Yikes - on again planning my next trip and realised I never finished my old trip report - so here goes!!

Day 2 - Wednesday, Studios!!

Dress of choice for Orla - Snow White ( of course!)

We ate breakfast in the hotel today - slept in a little and missed our time slot, but we were still only waiting 5 minutes for a table. Cute baby in arms helped methinks!!

So off we headed to the studio. We got there just before ten and headed in. First thing we see is Minnie at the fountain, so got a quick photo and signature. Then we were heading over to Playhouse Disney, however when we got there we realised the first show was in French, next English one was in 45 mins. So turned around and headed over to the Back Lot tour. Queued for about 20 mins and did the tour. Enjoyed it - though Orla was a bit scared by the fire. Then off - and Playhouse was starting in 5 mins - so we booted over towards there and we just about made it. They let us sit at the seats at the back as we had a baby - was great, the guy doing all the introducing on the stage came over to Orla when finished. Well she was enthralled by it - Little Einsteins especially - big hit!!

Came out of there - and Goofy, DOnald and Daisy were milling around. We got photos and signatures with Goofy and Donald. Orla finally brave enough to approach on her own. THere was a bit of pushing around - but the characters controlled it themselves and called over the kids who were next in turn. We missed out on Daisy - but Donald proposed to her in front of us - very cute!!

Debating what to do next - noticed CineMagic was about to start so headed in - really enjoyed it - Orla a bit bored with it - but was nice to sit down. We were coming out of there and loads of characters appeared out of nowhere, heading for the back gate - probably lunch break - but it was great to see them. ALaddin, Jasmine, Wicked Queen, Woody, Jesse, Mary Poppins etc.

Headed over to get some lunch then - mickey mouse pizza for Orla. Then we came out and the Cars and Stars parade was on. We didn;t get a great spot - but had Orla up on my shoulders for most of it - she saw SNow White and dopey in one of the cars. We enjoyed the show and some of the characters came walking around after. The only one who was heading for us was the Wicked Queen - Orla nearly freaked though, a bit scared!! So she gave us a little smile and wave and moved on.

After that we headed over to the other side - Orla was too scared of Sully who was meeting and greeting - but we queued for Buzz Lightyear - he was great with her - wrote in her book to the prettiest Snow White ever!! She was not interested in the carpets - so we headed in to Animagique - brilliant show - dancing and singing the works.

After that we wandered around for a bit - and then headed into Stitch Live - loved it - was so funny. We didn;t get picked on, but was great.

After that we headed back to the main park to pick up some photos and do some shopping. Was looking for some animation cells. None there - but found some in one of the shops in the village - picked up a winnie the pooh one. Not as big a selection as I remember from Florida - will just have to head back there now I have the money for some.

Next thing we know its time for dinner in Cafe Mickey. Well we had such a ball there. Met Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, Captain Hook ( a bit scary), Tigger , Eeyore, Stitch, Genie, Chip & Dale. The only thing was Tigger, Eeyore and Captain Hook were not signing ( no hands!!) - so as Orla was big into the swing of the autograph book she did not know how to deal with that!!

Food was yummy - and a ball had by all. Headed back to the hotel after that - wrecked again and all crashed out by ten o'clock.

Final Day - boo hoo!!

Dress by Orla - Snow White again ( will have to peel it off her I think!!)

Last day - and really looking forward to the princess lunch!! Flight not until nine that night so loads of time in the park.

We were booked to have breakfast in the park that morning again - so in we headed. It was in Fantasyland just opposite Peter Pan - so that was great. Had a nice relaxing breakfast - and off we went into Small World again. A definite favourite!! After that, another ride on the carosuel - another favourite. We then decided to see could we get on the train around the park and headed back up main street - but it was going to be too long to wait and Woodys Round up was opening at 11 - so we headed off for that. At this stage all Orla wanted to do was fill up her book!! We headed over and queued for about 30-40 mins, Chip and Dale came out beside the queue and did dancing and jumping around the tables - kept us entertained. In we got, and met Goofy, Minnie ( who was sweet, curtseyed to our Princess!!), Mickey, Woody, Jesse and Donald. Autograph book well filled up at this stage!

We headed into Adventureland then and onto Pirates of the Carribean. They were not going to let me on with the baby who was in a sling, but I said I knew the ride and they were happy with that so on we went. Kids loved it, I was surprised as thought it would be scary, but no!

Then time for the big event, the Princess lunch. Off we headed to Fantasyland for our time slot. We were still 30 mins waiting outside even though we were on time. But got in and got the photo taken with CInderella - she was English, full of talk for Orla. Very sweet. Then into the room. We got fantastic seats, just beside where the princesses come in and right beside the dancing. Belle was milling around when we got in but did not see anyone else. Then she disappeared - the mice came out first - then Belle and Ariel. The mice came to our table and Ariel. Then it was announced that Aurora and Prince Philip were coming out - so Ariel called over Orla and sat her on her lap to watch the dancing - talking to her the whole time - she was just fabulous. Aurora and Philip came to our table too - we stilll had not met Belle and they all disappeared again. A bit disappointed but the manager noticed and told us to take our time with desert and she would send Belle straight to out table. Which they did - fair play to them. Food was lovely - and I didn;t think it was bad value really - you would pay as much in Dublin with no princesses!!

After that we just had time to watch the parade again - and then headed back to hotel and off to CDG. Bye bye Disney for another while!!

The only disappointment for Orla was that she never got to meet Snow White - so we just have to go back!!:yay:
