Grandma is taking our son for b-day. Which hotel?

My mom is taking our 2 yr. old son to DL for his birthday. Can someone recommend a nice, affordable hotel in close proximity to the park?

Iam a grannie I take my DGD21months all the time we have stayed at HoJos 6 times in the last year. Great prices and location

First choice would be the PPH, but if you plan on staying off site, I would do HoJo's using the Entertainment rate.

I get the privilege of taking my almost 3 yr old DGD in May to Disneyland. After getting alot of advice here, I've got us booked at HoJo's. Taking advantage of the AP rate. Walkable distance 8-10 minutes, but definetly will bring a stroller.
Great swimming pool area for down time.

Thanks for tha advice. After checking it looks like HOJO is sold out for our dates and PPH is way too expensive for us at $250 per night with an annual pass rate. Any other ideas? Thanks.

I've always liked Anaheim Desert Inn and Suites. I have found their rates very affordable and the walk to the park is a piece of cake. Easy to go back for a nap in the afternoon. The staff is very nice and the rooms are clean and comfortable.

Keep checking back daily at HoJo's. When I first called 2 weeks ago, only 2 days were available out of the 4 that I needed. By the end of the week, all room types were available. This was for May.
Besure and call 714-776-6120 and ask for "IN House Reservations" M - F 9am-5pm.

We just checked and there are some openings at HOJO a few days later than we had planned on going so we are going to go then instead. The pool looks a lot like the one at CBR at WDW and has us sold since our little guy loves to swim...and grandma like the annual pass rate they offer. Thanks everyone for your help!!!!
