Hello!
My mother, my two year old daughter and u are headed to Disneyworld April 24-May1. I will be attending a conference at Swan and Dolphin Monday-Wednesday and my mom will stay back at the hotel with the little one those days. We are staying at the Caribbean Beach Resort.

Do you have any suggestions on keeping the little one entertained? I know they will go to the pool some. They are also fine with resort hopping if there are fun activities at any of the other resorts!
Thank you in advance!

Have you considered just staying at the Dolphin? It might make life a little easier and there's lots to do there - not just at the resort, but all around the Epcot Resorts area. The S/D grotto pool complex is nice, there are swan boats to ride and a sandy beach to play on. They could take a surrey bike ride around (or more likely with you maybe). The Fountain is on site and you can walk to Beaches and Cream for ice cream (Beach Club), as well as the Boardwalk Bakery. There is character dining at the Garden Grove restaurant (Swan) and at Cape May Cafe (Beach Club). Movies at night, walk to International Gateway, ride the gondolas, maybe visit some other resorts like Pop Century and Art of Animation, etc.

CBR is nice, as well, but just thinking logistically it might be nice to just be at the S/D, plus there are a lot of amenities there like 24hr room service as well as a gym and spa, childcare, etc. At CBR it would be nice if they could rent a bike with a child seat and ride around, it's a big resort. The Pirate pool complex is really nice with water play areas. Maybe they could nap on a hammock or try breakfast or lunch at one of the outdoor locations, etc. They could also take a bus over to MK (with stroller) and ride the monorail and stop at resorts and eat or shop, or take a boat ride, etc. Lots to do. They could also go over to AKL and look at the animals. (It might be a little tricky to get to without a car.) if they go to Disney Springs they could take a boat ride up to POR and POFQ and get a biegnet, walk around, etc.

From CBR they also could ride the skyliner and walk to the beach club/boardwalk area and do all those same things (minus those pools) that the PP named. Take the boat around, go to one of the ice cream places in that area, etc.

They also could take the skyliner to AOA and look around. Lots to see there as far as big, recognizable, disney decor.

CBR has a great splash pad, a playground, sandy areas if she has sand toys, hammocks. They could go to a character breakfast at the new Rivera. There are often games or little crafts being done at the pool (they will be listed on the pool schedule).

I second the Skyliner, resort hopping idea. AoA is super cute, so they could walk around there a little bit. If they take the Skyliner over to EP, they can walk over to Swan/Dolphin which has a playground on the beach. There are character breakfasts at Topolino's (Riviera Resort), Trattoria al Forno (Boardwalk) and Cape May (Beach Club) - but they should make an ADR if they would like to go.

Is it too cost prohibitive to add some days on your mother's park ticket? When my DS was younger, we would just enjoy strolling around EP WS and seeing the shows.

Thanks everyone for the great ideas! I love the idea of sending them to a character breakfast! And I know my little one would love searching for all her favorite characters at the art of animation resort!
I found out I can get park tickets through the conference and a three day ticket comes with a bonus to go to one of the water parks! So probably going to plan on them having a hotel pool day, a resort hop/character breakfast day and a water park day!
