5 Days To Go! ​

It is now the fourth weekend of Star Wars Weekends, which every other year meant the last weekend, but not this year! They added that special fifth weekend which we get to be apart of!

Each time I start packing for a trip, I get so worried that I am going to forget something, this time is no different! Even though I have put all the outfits together with each piece, accessories, and shoes and folded them neatly into the suitcase, I still have that thought in the back of my head about leaving something behind!

This morning I boxed up the shoes we are taking, well the ones that still have boxes, and put the boxes into the floorboard of the backseat in the car. The other pairs of shoes that do not have boxes anymore were carefully put into the suitcase to make sure that they will not be squished and deformed once removed from the suitcase at our destination! I also put all of our evening attire that was not to be folded into the garment bags and hung them in the backseat.

It may seem too early to start loading up the car already, but I seriously have some sort of packing anxiety because I want to make sure everything is in place before we leave on Thursday! Of course, there will be things that cannot be packed until Thursday morning, but hey, I am getting a jump on it this weekend so I will have less to do then!

With it being Saturday, it is another good day for a Double Header of movies for the countdown!! I also wanted to break it up a little bit and watch some live action Disney movies as opposed to only animated films! So, today I am going to watch.....

Princess Diaries 1 & 2!

Who doesn't love Julie Andrews! Who knows...this may or may not be the last of her in the countdown!

Only a few movies left for the countdown!! We only have 4 more days to go after today! Jeremy said he may even be able to get off work even earlier on Thursday, and if that happens, who knows, we may be able to get to spend a little more time in Charleston? I guess we will see whenever that actually happens!

*On a side note...apparently Saghani thinks she is some sort of hunter, she ran out into the yard this morning like a flash of lightning and bit the head off of a snake...

I have never heard of DPart and just quickly googled it. Have you guys used it before? Is it fairly accurate? Would be nice and handy to have!

Okay, yes, surprising that you have never seen Dumbo! But their's another PTR I follow and she had never seen it either so you are not alone! What did you think of it? The beginning makes me so very sad when his mom gets locked up and they all bully Dumbo. I will just fast forward that thank you very much!

Princess Diaries is so fun! and who doesn't love ugly duckling into swan stories!?!

Holy moly!! Brave and crazy Saghani! Happy that everyone is okay....you know except for the snake!

So I just heard of DPart recently too, everyone I have heard talk about it says that is is pretty accurate, however, I will definitely let you know if it is or not when we get back!

Dumbo is seriously a sad movie, I thought it maybe a little inappropriate for children? To me there were definitely some questionable moments in it, but the older I get, the more I notice those types of things in older Disney movies. I mean, they get a little intoxicated right? And like hallucinate?? Anywho...

So yeah, Princess Diaries I love! Saghani is a bit of a psycho dog, and kind of fearless, I am just glad that it wasn't a poisonous snake! Less than 5 days now! I can't wait to start taking trip notes!

4 Days To Go! ​

Whew, am I tired!! I just got inside from cutting the grass in the backyard! At least it is a little breezy out there. I came inside to take a little rest break, drink up some water and sit down here to write up the Movie Countdown post for today!

We have 4 days until we start our drive to WDW and I finally have all the sunscreen I need for the trip...at least I hope I do! Today I am going to have all of the batteries for each electronic device we are taking getting charged up so we can make sure that everything is ready to be packed with the final things on Wednesday night and Thursday morning. I definitely don't want batteries dying on me during any part of the trip.

I remember very clearly, watching today's movie for the first time in Disney Digital 3D in the movie theater...it literally felt like I was there and I couldn't believe my eyes when we were there! This movie definitely had the Let It Go down way before Frozen did. and even one of the characters famously says...Don't, Let It Go! Who doesn't love the Bowler Hat Guy! Hmm...maybe we will Disney Bound as Lewis and The Bowler Hat Guy on one of our trips! Singing Frogs, Mechanical Bowler Hats, "TODAYLAND"!!!! This is one of my favorite Disney movies, definitely in my top 5 list! It also reminds us to Keep Moving Forward, which is what I am going to do right now, move forward to watch the movie while I rest and before I go back outside to cut more grass! So here we go with today's movie!

Okay, now this is a Disney movie I haven't seen. Considering its in your top five list though I am going to have to give it a try and watch it. I watch the Mousesteps weekly videos and they usually get pretty excited when they see Bowler Hat guy out for Halloween. lol.

It is a movie that isn't for everyone, but I find so many things about it to be so amazing, that I can't help but love it! You will have to let me know what you think after you watch it!

2 Days To Go!! ​

It is so close now, I can taste Victoria & Albert's!! On the schedule for tomorrow is to make sure everything is washed and packed that we will need clothing wise, and make sure our clothes for Thursday are set out for us. I need to mow the front lawn so we don't have an African Savannah when we come back!I will also wash the car so King Candy will be perfect for our drive!

Jeremy is coming home tomorrow! So excited about that! He should be home around the 2:00 hour in the afternoon and then we will get to work on everything we need to get done before we leave on Thursday! I also will need to make a list for my dad. What an awful daughter I am, making him watch our dogs and house on Father's Day weekend...we should have planned a better date for our wedding so that our Anniversary wouldn't be near Father's Day every year!

After we are done with everything, we will sit down to dinner tomorrow night and watch the 2 movies that I have for the countdown tomorrow! They seem like they go well together for me, so I always watch them in succession!

For today, however, there can be only one! Tons of stuff going on! I have absolutely no idea why I chose this movie to be for today...and now that I am writing this I still can't think of a reason. I like this movie, but I think I have only seen it 1 1/2 times...once in the theater and then partially one night but I fell asleep watching it. With that in mind I am going to watch it during lunch today, that way I shouldn't fall asleep! As it is almost lunch time, I better get started! 2 Days to go countdown movie is..."Brave"

I changed the sig because I felt like it was way too cluttered with all the other different ones, I wanted it to look cleaner And Yeah, We have never stayed at Grand Calfiornian and that is our home resort so we figured we may need to try and make it back to Disneyland soon. It is still tentative depending on budget, etc, but hopefully we will be able to do it!

He will be home this afternoon!! It is really pretty much here now!

I don't know what it is about Brave, but I didn't make it through it yesterday either! I paused it about 36 minutes in and never started it back up... I don't know what is wrong with me! I may be getting antsy and just ready to go tomorrow!

We Go Tomorrow!!​

Jeremy made it home this afternoon!! We are all packed up except for our toiletries we need in the morning! Our clothes are set out for tomorrow and everything else is in the car ready to go!!

I washed King Candy today, so he looks fabulous and ready for a road trip! As soon as Jeremy gets off work tomorrow, we are on our way!

I really appreciate everyone following along on my PTR! It means a lot to me that you guys enjoyed it! As soon as we get back I will be working on the trip video and then the TR! I hope to have lots of photos and experiences to share with you all! Then once it is over you can count down with us again for our trip in July!

We have already watched both of the countdown movies today! I watched one earlier in the day and we watched the other together and just finished it! We have a lot to do tonight, plus there is a Dodger game on at 7, which is less than an hour from now! One movie has always been a favorite of mine, the second is a newer film that is climbing higher on my favorites list every time I watch it! I really do have to watch them both together, there is no other way anymore! And the reason I chose them for today?? Because they are Practically Perfect in Every Way!! You got it!!
