From reading these boards and seeing a map of OKW I get the impression that the only Grand Villa that would qualify for the category of "near hospitality house" would be the two grand villas in building 25. Does that seem correct? Has anyone stayed in building 25? I was lucky enough to be able to reserve a "hospitality house" grand villa for a family trip with kids & grand kids. Thanks.

We have stayed in a GV in building 25. Great location. Golf view from balcony, close to bus stop and Hospitality House. You scored!

Thanks for the reply jekjones, I decided to call member services just now and the cast member confirmed that a Grand Villa in the category "near hospitality house" means it will be building 25 since there are no other grand villas in this category. Now I just have to hope the upcoming renovation schedule doesn't take that building out of service at the time of our vacation. It is great to hear that you like the location.

The location of building 25 is the BEST! We stayed in the GV, unit #2523 back in 2014, and we'll be staying in building 25 again this coming June. What I love best about this location is that you can walk to the Hospitality House bus stop to leave the resort (it is the last stop, so no long drive through the resort, and we rarely had problems with the bus being crowded despite staying during June), and then get off the bus at the Peninsular Road bus stop (1st drop off!) pretty much steps from the villa. I also like that you can easily access the HH area in general - it makes me feel more connected to the resort, and less like we're staying in condo complex.

As far as the building being out of service, I think my Mom, our main DVC lady (@Pirate Granny) would seriously lose her mind if that happened. One would think they would plan this refurb out to the point where they would take rooms out of the possible inventory if they were undergoing remodeling. At least that is my hope for them if they do not want to face the wrath of my mother. :p

Anywho... If you'd like to see some pics, check out this page of my trip report from the 2014 trip. Pictures of the villa and views are in post 95. Enjoy your trip!!

Thanks Duffy for the great information and photos. It is good to know that we are in a great location and that we got one of the two Grand Villas in the hospitality house area. The tip about the bus stops is much appreciated. I too hope Disney has the foresight to remove rooms from inventory for the renovation rather than suprising guests at the last minute. Thank you very much. I guess I got lucky going online at 8am at 11 month for a Thanksgiving week reservation.

We just stayed in building 25, room 2520. It was a corner studio. Perfect location, very private for a studio. You will love this location.
