grand gathering meals??

What are grand gathering meals? We might have over 8 people going with us but never heard of special meals?

A Grand Gathering is a group of 8 or more (children under 3 do not count toward the minimum requirement, so at least 8 of your group must be age 3 or over) who are staying at Disney resorts. If your group registers as a grand gathering you can have access to three special meal events.
