Grand Floridian Spa question

I'm thinking about scheduling a couples massage at the Grand Floridian Spa. I'm wondering whether there is a hot tub / jacuzzi / whirlpool in the spa area to use before or after my massage that is co-ed so my husband and I can both use it?

I searched and the only photo I found was of a very small looking hot tub, looked like it could fit 2-3 people. Is this the only hot tub at the spa? Are there usually people there? Is it co-ed?

Finally, is the hot tub area currently open? Does anyone know if it will be affected by the refurbishment starting March 1, 2023?

We went last March and the hot tub was off the locker room. So I was in one and my girlfriend another. The only communication we had was the attendant coming to get stuff my girlfriend left in my bag. The spa in general was kinda empty when we went but we did not see each other outside of the actual couples massage.

Were you happy with your massage and experience at the spa?

The spa was a lot smaller than I expected, and I won't be back. I think the Saratoga one is actually bigger?

If your goal is spa, I think there are much nicer ones off-site.

No, there are no co-ed hot tubs. The ones in the locker rooms were open when I was there last July. I believe the spa was just "refreshed" so unlikely to be part of the refurbishment. I thought the spa was just ok. Have had much better experiences elsewhere.

Now that I look, there are so many in Orlando! A lot of them in other resorts/hotels. They all look really nice. Is there one that you recommend?

I’d recommend the spa at the Four Seasons. It’s absolutely beautiful and we’ve had a positive experience each time we’ve gone.
