Grand Floridian Roof Renovation

Does anyone know about renovations that are being done to the GF resort's lobby and convention centre roof? or when its going to take place?

In my letter of agreement, it says that I acknowledge that the roof is undergoing exterior and interior renovations and it will be done at Disney's discretions. It doesn't say when this will take place. I am having visions of workers hammering the roof during my reception.

Yeah, that news was not music to my ears... They're re-doing the floor in the GF Convention center lobby, and they're re-doing the roof. They have already begun, but I'm not sure when it will be done, and they can't give an exact date...

It is good to hear that they have started the roof but not good that they won't even give you an approximate date. I guess I will have to wait and see what my co-ordinator says.
