Grand Floridian Resort Studio Lagoon View Room Requests and Alternate layouts?

We will be staying at the Grand Floridian for the very first time in a few weeks in a Resort Studio with Lagoon View. What are your favorite room requests in that category and are there any alternate layouts in the Lagoon View? I know the turret rooms in Standard category offer a larger room size and was wondering if there is a comparable room to request in Lagoon view category. Thanks!

There is one lagoon view studio w/ a small bump out on the 5th floor - see diagram in this article https://dvcnews.com/wdw-resorts/gra...oridian-units-declared-into-condo-association
I’ve read of one person getting that bump out room & they asked to be moved, the couch was in the bump out & faced into the room away from the view you paid all of those points for. It doesn’t have a balcony either, nor do the lagoon view villas on either side of it. All of the 5th floor & some of the 4th floor villas have those small box balconies w/ the solid railing, so if you want to see the lagoon from inside your villa you might want to avoid those. My standard view box balcony had higher than normal chairs on it, so I could see over the railing when seated outside on those tall chairs.

i stayed in march and at first they gave me one of the box balconies but i could barely see over the wall sitting down so i asked to be moved and they gave me 9401, the last room at the end. it was nice because the balcony didnt have a barrier on the right side so you could look around. was also next to the outside staircase so didnt need to take elevator. here are some pics
