Hi! I'm seeking out newer/updated info/photos on a GF Main Building, Lagoon View, Deluxe King room with daybed. It's the 623 square feet one. I have one booked for October 2018 and there will be 3 of us (myself, husband and our 8year old daughter). I can't locate accurate photos or info on the room online. Just want to make sure 3 of us will be comfortable.

Also, I'm hearing conflicting information on whether or not there are balconies for this room type...??

Any help or information is appreciated!

We have stayed in one several times, last time we did was in May of 2016, so it was after the last rehab. There are 2 different types of king deluxe rooms. I don't know the square footage of either type. But I think they both have sleeper sofas & you can request which type you want, but it is just a request, not a guarantee.

There are about 9 rooms on the second floor, above Gasparillas Grill. These look out toward the marina & you can see the castle in the distance. These do have balconies. They are basically a regular room, just larger. There is a separate shower & soaker tub. They are a bit tricky to get to because you have to take a separate elevator to the second floor. It is very quiet there tho because that floor is only those 9 rooms.

The other style is an octogan shaped room. The room is a little larger with windows on all sides. There are no balconies in this style room. Regular bathroom, no seperate soaker tub but they have a walk in closet. These rooms may have resort views or theme park views. There are less of these rooms than the other type. Maybe only 4 of these, I think.

I think both type rooms are listed for up to 3 guests, so, again, the type is not guaranteed. Check out page 1 of the GF info thread. There are pictures of the rooms there. And I'd suggest asking any other questions on that thread for lots of current info.

@focusondisney did a good job of explaining .

4201-09 look just like a std room anywhere on property with a king bed. It does have a soaker tub and TPV.

See 4421 and 4430? Those are the octagon rooms located on floors 3-5 so 6 in total.

I have stayed in both and prefer the octagon for size . There are balconies off the lounge so you can sit there instead.

As posted check gf thread.

:)
