We have a 9:30 AM dining reservation at the Grand Floridian Café on October 1.

Normally, they let us drive in and park for our reservation.

However, that's also the same day as the 50th anniversary celebration.

Are they still going to let us in to park? Has anyone heard anything about special protocols on that day?

Thanks!

If you have a dining reservation, I can’t imagine they’d deny you access to park, regardless of what day it is. If you said you were just going to visit or going to Gaspy’s to eat on the 50th, I can see them saying no bueno. Have fun!

My “guess” is that it’ll be something like 12/31 - normal rules about parking with ADRs apply, but more scrutiny all around and the potential for lots like CR, Poly, GF to be full at select times and they push overflow to TTC.

This. I would guess that they may have a section blocked off for ADRs and strictly monitor that for the 3 hour time limit and tow for cars that overstay their limit.

MIGHT be safer to just plan to go to the TTC and monorail over. Especially if you're staying on property and have parking at the parks.

We might just bus over to the Magic Kingdom and then Monorail to the Grand Floridian, but I expect bus service to suck that day.

We enjoy the Grand Floridian Cafe but it just might not be worth it on that day.
