My husband and I agree that we need to choose no more than ONE excursion in port but the hard part is actually deciding which one to do. We had planned on doing JUST ONE excursion for the entire trip (to save $) - we chose the stingray adventure at Castaway but then we decided to add on a snorkle tour of a sunken ship in Grand Cayman. So, we're up to 2.

Now, we're thinking of adding on an excursion to swim w/ the dolphins but after looking at the different excursions, the one I like best is also in Grand Cayman AND we're thinking about adding a third excursion while in Cozumel. Eeeeik! I need help!

Dolphin swim & Turtle farm vs. Shipwreck snorkle

Oh, and my son is completely obsessed w/ shipwrecks (we live in Michigan and there are quite a few around in the Great Lakes here). My daughter thinks she IS a dolphin - ha! and swears she is going to be a vet for Disney when she grows up. They both love animals. The dolphin excursion is almost 3 times the $ but I guess I don't care if it's worth it - what to do!!??

Also, can someone recommend an excursion or s'thing to do in Cozumel? Can we get away with just exploring without doing an excursion or will the day end up wasted? I'd rather spend the $ and get the best experience if that's what I need to do.

The turtle farm was a great experience! They let you hold and take pics with the smaller ones. We really loved the time we spent there. They have a pool for snorkeling and a freshwater pool. Next cruise, our plan is to get a taxi to the turtle farm and stay there most of the day.

Hi. We were on the Fantasy July 7 - 14 and we did the Dolphin Swim and Turtle Farm. It was really great. My DD is 10 and my DS is 7. They both enjoyed walking around in the water with the turtles and picking them up. We also really enjoyed the dolphin swim. It was our first time spending that much time with a dolphin. It was AMAZING!

We have the Turtle Farm and Dolphin Swim booked. It's our only excursion this cruise and I can't wait!
I did a dolphin swim in Jamaica years ago, but DH has not, I know we're going to have a great time and we both love turtles and I've heard great things about visiting the farm as well.
