Grand Californian to LAX

I know LA traffic is unpredictable but I'm going to pose this anyway.

We have an 8:15am flight out of LAX to Honolulu on December 19 which is a Wednesday. We're 4 adults who are efficient travelers and we all have TSA Pre-Check. Delta flight.

Right now, were scheduled to be picked up by Lansky at 5:15am. Is this early enough? (I'll probably check with Lansky eventually).

Go to Google Maps. Enter your destination then you can choose a starting location and arrival time and it will give you a traffic estimator based on historical data and you will get an idea of typical traffic.

Much more accurate than guesses here!

I also use Lansky. I usually email him and ask him what time I should book if I want to be there at a certain time. He's pretty good getting back to me.

At that time, you should be fine. It'll take a little over an hour (unless there's an accident on the way but if your driver uses Waze, he'll know - unless the accident happens while you're on your way). If you waited until 6am, you'd be in trouble. Just my 2 cents (btw I live fairly close to dland and work near the airport).

I always take the 5:50 am disneyland express bus and get to lax about 7am-7:30am. But my flight is at 10am to hawaii. So just hope the tsa lines move fast....
