Grand Californian studio & laundry

Here's a question, we're thinking about a studio at the grand californian. but is there a laundry in the dvc segment, or do you have to go to the regular guest laundry in the main building?

The laundry is on the first floor of the DVC section of the resort. There are 2 washing machines and 4 dryers. The machines require tokens for each load. You will need to get tokens from the front desk.

you can also get tokens in the laundry room with the cash machine.

Why would a DVC owner want to pay for the tokesn when we're entitled to them for "free"? I was there in January, and the front desk was very generous with the tokens. Also be aware that the same tokens are used to purchase detergent, bleach, and softener sheets.
