I have been given the choice of either staying concierge with a courtyard view or non concierge but with a theme park view. I am trying to decide which to choose. Has anyone stayed at either of these room types? Or does anyone have any opinions to help me choose. Also what is the view like from the concierge lounge?
Cheers!!

Theme park view is great!! I would love it as I can stay standard view any old time. Then again, we are never back in the hotel during the concierge offering times so we wouldn't be able to take enough advantage of it to make it worht it. Besides the snacks, there is not much extra to going concierge!

But if you will be back at the hotel a few times a day to make it worth it, then I would go for it!

I had GCH concierge booked originally, but changed to DLH standard because the more I looked into things I realized that the concierge services at DL are not nearly as extensive or even comparable to what they are at WDW. We almost always stay Club level or concierge at WDW, but there was really nothing in it for us at Disneyland. As Matterhorn mentioned, just continental bfast and snacks really.

Happy planning,

Like Andrea said, the theme park view is great, however, my family still prefers the DD view mainly because you get an awesome view of Wishes...:thumbsup2

I would take the view room any day. I do not care for the courtyard view at DCA, though many do. We bring our own snacks (nuts, granola bars, candy) and usually bottles of water, juice for the am, wine for the pm....
I do not think concierge is worth the extra $$$, but the DTD or Park View is! Of course, you know what is most important to you and your family.

Good luck deciding and have a wonderful trip.:)

Thanks for all the replies, however I think I might go with the concierge as I think we will use their services more. The breakfast will be handy as will the afternoon snack when we come back to the room for a mid afternoon park break, plus the glass of wine before dinner will be nice. Bringing snacks and wine ourselves is not an option. We are flying from the UK and they keep lowering our luggage allowence so I am worrying that I can't take all the clothes I need for 2 weeks let alone put anything else in the case!!
So in saying that I read that you can view the fireworks from the lounge and they pipe the music in so what are the views like from the lounge? Also what is the view like from the 5th floor patio?
